Jefferson Stage and Hall

Historic 6,300-seat auditorium with the largest proscenium stage in North America and 54,000 sq ft expo hall in Downtown Los Angeles.

Jefferson Stage and Hall is a 1926 historic landmark in Los Angeles comprising a 6,300-seat auditorium, an expo hall of approximately 54,000 square feet, and expansive outdoor grounds and adjacent lots. The auditorium features the largest proscenium stage in North America, with a wall-to-wall width approaching 195 feet, a depth of approximately 69 feet, and a proscenium opening of approximately 100 feet, supported by state-of-the-art lighting and rigging systems. The Moorish Revival interior, freestanding balcony, and soaring volume have made it a recurring choice for major televised productions and live events.

The expo hall spans two levels β€” 34,000 square feet on the main floor and 20,000 square feet on an open mezzanine β€” and connects directly to the auditorium, allowing productions and events to operate across both environments within a single campus.

Outdoor grounds and adjacent lots extend the footprint further, supporting broadcast compounds, festival builds, and basecamp operations.

The building is designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
