Raw Studios

Raw Studios operates two facilities in South Los Angeles with confirmed stage specifications across several environments. The main stage in the original facility is approximately 10,000 square feet (50 x 200 feet) with 32-foot ceilings, a 24-foot grid, 1,200-amp 3-phase camlock power, and original green patina brick walls with industrial windows that can be blacked out. The stage shares large barn doors with adjacent spaces, allowing connection to additional stages when needed. On-site amenities include two hair and makeup stations, a kitchen and eating area, a lounge, three restrooms, house 110v power, and WiFi. A second stage of approximately 5,000 square feet (50 x 100 feet) carries 24-foot ceilings with a 13-foot grid, 1,200-amp 3-phase camlock power, and an original vintage industrial aesthetic with green brick walls, exposed wood, steel casement windows, and natural textures. This stage is LAFD Film Unit certified, exempting productions from obtaining a City of Los Angeles film permit. It includes two hair and makeup stations, a kitchen area, a lounge, one ADA restroom, blackout curtains, and on-site parking for crew vehicles, grip trucks, and production vans. Scissor lifts, production supplies, art department resources, set walls, and props are available as add-ons. Multiple cyc configurations, an alley stage, an office stage, and an upper loft extend the available shooting environments across the campus.
