Downtown Creative Campus
Downtown Creative Campus operates six professional sound stages of approximately 18,000
square feet each, built to a specification that reflects the campus's position as Los Angeles's premier independent studio. Some of the stages are audience-rated with floating wood floors and high-capacity climate control engineered for noise-sensitive recording environments or band rehearsals,
Stage 1 features an in-ground pool of approximately 50 by 30 feet at 16 feet deep, a distinctive asset that has served productions requiring practical water work within a controlled stage environment.
Stage 4 is a dedicated LED volume stage, operating a large wraparound LED system with camera tracking integration and real-time visual effects capability for in-camera VFX workflows across film, television, and commercial production.
Beyond the stages, the campus backlot delivers a range of practical filming environments without a company move: enclosed city streets, a subterranean parking garage, loading docks, a versatile ground-floor lobby, and standing-set style spaces that dress convincingly as police precinct, medical facility, banking institution, or government office.
Surface lots and a large underground garage handle trucks, trailers, and production vehicles at scale, making basecamp logistics as controlled as the stages themselves.
